What this site is, plainly
Short version: it is an unofficial index of one small channel's free videos. It sells nothing, hosts nothing, and links back for every lesson.
About this site
No. It is an unofficial companion that indexes and embeds publicly available videos from Lean English Pronunciation and links back to the channel for every one of them. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or run by Ed.
From YouTube. Nothing is re-hosted or downloaded here. Each lesson page loads YouTube's own player only after you press play, so no YouTube cookie is set on you before then.
No. There is no checkout, no course, no email wall. If that ever changed it would need the creator's permission first.
That is entirely reasonable — the site can be taken down or adjusted on request. Everything is driven from one data file, so removing a video or the whole index is a one-line change.
Pronunciation and how to study
British. That is what Ed teaches, and several lessons deal directly with how accents differ across regions rather than treating one as correct.
No. The lessons demonstrate sounds out loud rather than leaning on the phonetic alphabet, though symbols do appear where they make something clearer.
It is not trying to. One of the lessons is specifically about the difference between reducing an accent for clarity and trying to erase it — the first is useful, the second is neither necessary nor desirable.
A suggested order for watching videos that already exist on the channel, grouped so the ideas build on each other. It is free and it is only an ordering.
